Plot

On June 7, 2014, forty-five cyclists from across the globe launched the first Trans Am Bike Race, following the legendary TransAmerica Trail. Their goal: cover 4,233 miles in a single, grueling stage race across ten states, a transcontinental journey of epic scale. *Inspired To Ride* follows several riders as they prepare, compete, and experience what it’s like to pedal 300 miles daily on just a few hours of sleep. They depend entirely on their fitness, carefully chosen gear, and mental grit to reach the finish—and to raise the stakes, they’re completely self-supported, with no crew, no follow vehicles, and no prize money waiting at the end.
